Designed and produced by plonc., Sunset is not a reproduction of stone, but a study of light as it settles into matter. Inspired by a year of observing sunsets over Avoca Beach, its surface records the gradual transition from brightness to depth, where atmosphere dissolves into sand, mineral, and time.

Soft grey-beige fields are interrupted by restrained gold and pale mineral markings. These are not decorative gestures, but traces. Each line carries the memory of shifting light, geological pressure, and erosion pressed into the porcelain body.

Rendered with subtle relief, Sunset responds quietly to movement throughout the day. As daylight changes, the surface deepens rather than dazzles, allowing light to pass across it, pause, and recede. The result is a material that holds presence without dominance.

Within an interior, Sunset does not announce itself. It steadies a space. It establishes continuity between architecture, landscape, and lived experience, grounding rooms in duration rather than moment.
